Experiment with the colors. Follow my color scheme or make a traditional blue jacket. Make it look Christmas-y, using red-green-white color palette. Choose pink color combination, and now it is a perfect present for a girl. Your imagination has no limits! To whom are you making this toy? What are his favorite colors?
The pattern includes overalls, boots, jacket, hat and scarf full description.
Use a set of 2 straight needles. Knit the overalls in one piece, sew up. There is a detailed instruction plus lots of pictures that will make it easier for you.
Make your jacket details separately – front and back, then the sleeves. We will use different knitting techniques here, change colors, make a placket in one piece, use rib and stockinette stitch.
For the boots we use stockinette stitch; rib stitch for hat making.
It is so cool when your toy is getting all dressed up, step by step. First, no clothes at all, it just sits there, waiting for you to make its outfit. Then, it has its overalls on, next are the boots, its jacket, hat and finally, a very cute scarf. Take a picture of every step and create a collage to post on Instagram. It will be fun!
