Here I tried to consider your knitting skills and preferences; there are two ways of making this toy:
For the first one we use a set of DPNs, no sewing up. It is the best for those who know how to use DPNs and don’t like to sew the detail up. If you know how to knit socks, this knitting project won’t give you any troubles. It is of the same difficulty level; and takes the same length of time.
For the second one we use a pair of straight needles, knitted flat (row) method. Here I will tell you how to knit the details in a right way, sew them up after and make invisible seam.
There is an extensive list of yarn recommendations, so choose the one you want, the one that will make you feel comfortable working with.
Now the details are knitted, and it is time to stuff and shape the toy. How to do that, plus the fiber fill stuffing ideas – all is there, in my pattern instruction.
Now, the most amazing moment - bringing the toy to life! And it means, making up its muzzle. It is the moment when our knitted toy chooses its personality. I made a step by step instruction, and lots of pictures of how to make toy’s muzzle. Plus, there is a video of this exciting moment that will make it easier for you. It will be super fun, trust me!
The knitted toy height is about 38-40 cm, its weight is 200g. Now, he is waiting for his new outfit, and you guys have to decide about it together.
