Modern world is all about rushing, there is no time to slow down, stop and think, look back. We are in a hurry. We make plans. But when you slow down and stop rushing, you enjoy life more. You have to embrace the “here and now”. 

So, sit on your (traditional) sofa, and make yourself comfortable; take 2 of your favorite (and the most traditional) needles and your ( traditional) woolen yarn. Well, “woolen” is not mandatory, you can take the one that you have, even if it is “not that much woolen”.

Let’s start? I will show you how to make every stitch of my cardigan. Its front and back, and the sleeves. Detailed instruction is included. There are lots of pictures in it, explanation of assembling process, and etc.  You will use your knit and purl, increase and decrease skills, aran and rib/hollow rib stitch patterns technique. Feel free to ask questions, even if they are not about knitting, let’s chat.

Our traditional aran cardigan is ready! Who is there, waiting to try it on? Bunny toy, reindeer or (traditional) teddy bear toy? Maybe Fox or Polar Bear?   It fits all the Polushkabunny knitted toys. Sounds like a great reason to make one more cardigan!

The cardigan is knitted in rows on 2 needles. The body and sleeves are worked separately in pieces (right front, back, sleeves, left front) that are seamed together.
Each piece is worked “Bottom Up”, then joined and worked in a single piece to the neck.

The cardigan fits all the toys by Polushkabunny (38-40 cm (14-16 inches)height)
