My outfit knitting pattern is incredibly detailed and has lots of pictures - as usual. It includes the dress, coat, boots, pants and hat patterns.
For the dress we use 2 knitted needles. Your stockinette stitch and cable knit pattern knowledge is also important. Still, these are the basics, you can modify it the way you want. You can change the cable pattern for the cross stitch if you feel like it. Or make an embroidery over knitting. If you are a jacquard technique fan, use it for the dress border. Need my advice? Write me, I would love to help.
There are two hat designs options - such a great chance to show your creativity. Make your own design, just follow the stitches number from my pattern. Rib or cable knit, jacquard pattern or flower embroidery - it is all about your own unique work of art.
One more Basic outfit detail – the boots – are super cute and just look adorable, don’t you think? Use a 5 DPNs set for them. If you don’t know how to, it is a great opportunity to learn. Small projects are the best for learning new skills.
Coat is the next one. The are 2 yarn options for it – the cotton and mohair yarn option. Try them out, experiment with the texture – the boucle, mélange or grasse. There are lots of yarn recommendations in my description. The list of brands, manufactures and length/weight parameter is included. Using it, you can create your own design.
For the pants we also going to use the DPNs. There are lots of outfits that are made using 2 knitting needles and sewing up technique. Here I use 5 DPNs - for knitters who do not enjoy the idea of sewing up that much.
And the Basic outfit is ready. I did my best so you could enjoy your creativity to the max. Hope you had fun.
Please share the picture of your finished toy outfit, it will make me extremely happy. I want to create an image gallery of all the projects made with my pattern. Would you like to join?
