Let’s take knitting needles and make a “normal” world out of “abnormal”, that is around us. Some people say: “she is a crazy knitting lady!”. Has this ever happened to you? It happens to me quite often.

Let’s make this a bit “abnormal” Christmas outfit for theknitted bunny, lamb or doll toy. Why I call it “abnormal”? it is quite different. First, we going to use some other knitting needles, a little bigger than the ones you use to make toy outfits. Second, the yarn that I want to use is quite different from the one that we usually use for toy making. Third, I advise you to use different yarn textures, and ribbons for embroidery. And yeah, we will knit upside down. 

I remember Alice’s reaction, and it seems, yours is the same – 

The plan, of course, was excellent; simple and clear, it is better not to come up with. He had only one drawback: It was completely unknown how to enforce it”. 

 

To implement your plan, use the right strategy. In our case, it is a pattern. Detailed description of every step will make our plan real. Photo tutorial will make it even easier. 

The outfit includes knitted sweater, skirt, hat, panties and boots. 

Take the yarn type that is stated in my pdf description. We don’t use it often for making toys. But the result will make you happy; it will give you a thrill of a new experience. Next time you might want to make something bigger than a toy outfit, something for yourself – some kind of a throw blanket or even a cardigan.  It is a pleasure to knit, I promise you will enjoy it a lot.

We use 2 knitting needles for this project, plus several different techniques. These are stockinette and garter stitch, color changing, ribbon embroidery and etc. Don’t forget to sew up the details. There is a sewinng process description in my pdf pattern. 

It is not about just “killing time”, right? We will use it wisely, to our advantage, but we will also enjoy it.
