🎄Christmas Cheer - a Humorous Article About Preparing for the Holidays🎁

I think that those who love crocheting and knitting have several methods of preparing Christmas presents.
1.  The Xerox method. This it the method of those who like knitting/crocheting lots of similar cute knickknacks that symbolise Christmas. This method's fans cheer up when they see a growing pile of handmade "gingerbread cookies" on their desk😃 The distinctive features of this method of Christmas preparations are photos on social networks with a fir-tree forest and a squadron of identical Nutcrackers.
2.  The Egoism method. It usually starts with the idea the craftswoman has wanted to bring to life for a long time already but she couldn't find a use for it. For example, she wanted to learn the jaquard knitting technique – so here you go, dear husband, here are your socks with Jacquard Santa Claus😀 If a beautiful knitting pattern for a napkin catches her eye, then her dear friend will have to start looking for a bedside-table in the furniture store so that she would have where to put this napkin on😁 The Egoism method is useful in several ways: the knitter/crocheter gets new experience and a joy of creative satisfaction, and the ones who get the presents will probably be also over the moon!
3.  The Altruism method. An altruist starts finding out the things their nearest and dearest like much ahead of the holiday. And then she starts knitting/crochet according to the preferences and dreams of those lucky ones to get the presents. This method is the most expensive one. The craftswomen that love this method usually start preparing for Christmas in good time to find the needed yarn colored like "pink dawn above the azure sea" that will look gorgeous for their favourite aunt's scarf - and that's not an easy task! 😀
4.  The Epatage method. This method suits those who want to blow people away with their gifts or, at least, to leave a noticeable mark in history of art😀The ones that love epatage usually choose to knit either very technically difficult things for a gift, or provocative in both form and meaning😃

My toys that I suggest you making for Christmas as gifts for your nearest and dearest will suit the fans of any method listed above😀🧶😊

If you have a huge line of kids, colleagues and friends needed to be gifted, then knit them the animals from the series "COZY FRIEDNS".  The process of knitting these little ones is very quick and pleasant and the photos with the crowd of these little animals will show to advantage on any knitting forum.
And if you are an egoist, then choose the toy model you like the most, choose the best yarn that will bring you joy knitting and crochet with and enjoy the process. I'm sure there's someone among your friends who will be happy to get a toy knitted/crocheted by you as a gift.

If your name is an Altruist, then ask your beloved ones what animals they like. My collection has a vast choice of them and I hope you'll choose a model to knit/crochet out of it, the one that your nearest and dearest will love the most, the one that will make you a real Santa Claus.

Definitely the second one! I only make gifts I want to make😁 I'm selfish :-)))) And it's not my problem, how they are going to wear this deer sweater LOL

I am definitely the Altruism. However i tend to run out of time, the inconvenience of working! This year though i have had a knee replacement so been off work. I completed 6 fabulous projects that i have wanted to do for ages. Back to work soon so this will probably be the last Christmas i achieve the goals🙄
